There are three options to choose from when importing hand histories. All three options may be selected either from the Play Poker page...
...or by clicking the import icon on the bottom right hand side of the PokerTracker 4 application window.

Get Hands While Playing
"Get Hands While Playing" will import all hands from each poker room your have configured. If you haven't already, please make sure to correctly configure each poker site you play at. This includes configuring hand history locations, prefered seating preferences, etc.

Get Hands From Disk
"Get Hands From Disk" will allow you to import hand histories that you have archived for historical reasons, reimport processed files, between your laptop and your desktop, review hands played on a tablet (when applicable) or for any other reason you may have to import hands that you have stored on your disk.

Import From Email
"Import From Email" is a special-use feature that is used for select poker rooms, for example PartyPoker’s tournament summaries as sent via email.

Manually Importing Hand Histories
To manually import hand histories from your hard disk, do the following:

Select Get Hands From Disk from either the Import Icon found on the bottom right hand side of the PokerTracker 4 application window, or after clicking Play Poker

Choose Select Directory to import all of the hands found in a directory, or Select Files to only import specific hand history files that you choose

Browse to and locate the hand history file(s) or directory where the hand histories are located.
