Purchase / Upgrading

  • What's new in TableNinja II?
    • The new user interface is packed with more features than ever before.
    • SNG Sensei: Re-implemented, and much easier to use.
    • New "Street Betting" allow you to combine pot betting with fixed betting.
    • The hotkeys now work only when you're hovering over a table, thus you can play poker, watch TV, and type in Skype/Facebook without needing to "Toggle Hotkeys" (even though you can still toggle if you wish).
    • You are no longer limited to 4 hotkeys for betting - you can set as many as you wish. You can create hotkeys for actions such as "50% of the pot + 2 blinds."
    • The SNG Betting tab is gone and we've revamped it with a new concept called, "Filters".  Any hotkey that modifies the bet can have a filter, which defaults to "Always".  You can change that to things like "bb < 100", or "ante > 15" so you can have the same hotkey do different actions, depending on the table state.
    • The Default Bets options benefit from filters as well.  You can now define very specific betting options.  Example: Bet 60% of pot when you have less than 20 bb’s, otherwise bet 80% of pot.
    • In addition to Tile/Cascade/Stack support, TableNinja II adds two more layouts: Custom Layout, which allows you to specify how you want your tables set up.
    • Ninja Tile will make sure only the tables you have not yet folded on are tiled, while the rest are pushed to the stack.
    • To make switching to TableNinja II easy, TableNinja II will import your TableNinja (V1) settings automatically. Start TableNinja II and follow the setup wizard to import settings from TableNinja (V1).
  • How much does TableNinja II Cost?

TableNinja II Lite will have Ninja Tile functionality for all supported sites plus SnG opener (Sensei) capabilities. The $5 per month price of the "Lite" version is substantially more affordable than the up to $18 per month charged by some competitors for similar but partial functionality (they don't have the SnG opening capabilities included in our "Lite" version.

  • Why is TableNinja II subscription based?

Keeping TableNinja integrated with all of its supported poker clients requires constant maintenance, particularly now that online poker sites all have different regional clients.  At the same time, online poker and multi-tabling are constantly evolving and it is crucial that we have the resources to provide players with the best possible experience as new game types and play styles emerge.

Over the past five years, we've released several hundred updates to TableNinja (v1) that add new features based on requests from the community, support new game types, and support updates to all of the poker clients.  Each of these updates requires substantial time and money and we've learned that a one time payment is simply not a sustainable way to provide the kind of quality software that our users deserve.

TableNinja II has been rewritten from scratch to be more powerful, flexible, and easier to use.  Your monthly subscription will ensure that it is continually evolving to match changes to the poker sites you play on and to provide the features elite poker players need.

  • Will I have to pay for each site that I add to TableNinja II?

All supported sites are included in your PRO, Standard or Lite subscription.  There is also a PokerStars only version available.

Right now, TableNinja II supports the entire PokerStars network (.com, .fr, .it, and so on), all the FullTilt network and the entire PartyPoker network. More networks will be added, but work on them will not begin until a post launch assessment of the TableNinja II core product (including customer feedback) is performed.

Any new sites (networks) added will be prioritized based on traffic and your feedback.

  • Does TableNinja II support Omaha?

Yes, TableNinja II supports both Hold'em and Omaha.

Technical Issues

  • What are the system requirements for TableNinja II?

TableNinja II does not support the Mac OS X or Windows XP operating systems.

TableNinja II needs the Windows Aero theme to function correctly and XP doesn't supply this theme.

Operating Systems Supported by TableNinja II:

    • Windows 8
    • Windows 7
    • Windows Vista
  • TableNinja II is repeatedly warning me to turn off "Highlight bet amount", what do I do?

If you see a system tray warning telling you to disable "Highlight Bet Amount" then you will need to turn this feature off in PokerStars®. To do this go to the main PokerStars® lobby and go to Options → Advanced Multi-Table Options and then uncheck the box next to "Highlight bet amount".

Please note that TableNinja II already provides an option to automatically send your NumPad input directly to the bet box so that you can type in bet amounts, even if Highlight bet amount is disabled. This option is on the "Action Hotkeys" tab and is called "Send NumPad to Bet Box".

  • New Tournaments are popping up on top of my tables. How can I prevent this?

To prevent new tournaments from popping up on top of your tables and stealing focus open the the PokerStars Lobby and click "Options" → "Advanced Multitable Options..." and make sure that the check box next to "New tournaments take focus" is unchecked.

  • TableNinja II is entering negative bet amounts. What should I do?

If TableNinja II enters a negative bet amount it is because you need to turn off the "Highlight bet amount" option in PokerStars®.

  • Why does TableNinja II need to run as an administrator in Windows?

TableNinja II is able to provide tons of great features because it interacts with Windows® and your Poker Clients software at a very low level. TableNinja II needs to run as administrator to do all sorts of things, from sending mouse and keyboard input to Poker Client windows to saving hand history files and reading information from the Poker Clients. TableNinja II will automatically detect your system settings and attempt to Run as Adminstrator on its own if it is necessary. You'll just need to click continue on the User Account Control popup and everything should work smoothly.

  • What hand history file path do I enter into TableNinja II?

TableNinja II should automatically detect your hand history folder and set it properly in most cases. However, if your Poker Site username contains a space, comma, period, or some other special character you may need to set this folder manually. In this case please check the "Override User Folder" and then specify the file path where your hand history files are saved by your poker client.

To find the File Path for your hand history files go to the Poker Client and find the option related to "Instant Hand History Options..." Also verify that you have the "Save my Hand History" checkbox checked and that your Language is set to English in the Poker Client.

  • Does the cycle tables hotkey turn off when I target non-poker site tables?

No, the Cycling Tables hotkeys stays on even when you are using other programs so that you can easily switch back to your tables anytime you like. Because of this we recommend assigning these hotkeys to a key you do not regularly use in other programs

Miscellaneous

  • Is TableNinja II an AutoHotKey (AHK) script?

No, TableNinja II was written from scratch and in no way uses AutoHotkey. It was built from the ground up and because of this TableNinja II is faster, more versatile, more user friendly, and more stable than most AutoHotkey scripts.

  • How can I use TableNinja II with a gamepad or joystick?

To use TableNinja II with a joystick you will need to download and use a third party program such as Xpadder®. TableNinja II does not directly read joystick input, but this program will convert your joystick input into keyboard or mouse commands which TableNinja II can then assign to hotkeys.

  • Will TableNinja II work with my AHK scripts?

We try to make TableNinja II compatible with scripts and other programs when possible. However, there may be issues when using other programs, particularly ones that interact with poker site tables. If you are running other programs or scripts with TableNinja II and you find a feature does not work properly please try and turn off your other programs and see if you still have the same problem.

  • How is the pot size calculated for the percentage pot bets?

When you are the first to bet on a given street the pot-size is simply the total amount bet on all previous streets. In situations where someone else has bet in front of you TableNinja II calculates a pot-percentage bet as the amount of chips that have been bet prior to your action plus half of a minimum raise times the specified percentage, plus half of a minimum raise.

For example, if you are first to act on the flop and the pot is 1000 and 80% pot bet would 800. As a second example, if the small blind and the big blind post the blinds and two players limp an 80% pot sized bet would be 4.6 big blinds. That's 80% of 4.5 big blinds plus one additional big blind.
