Hey there guys, I bought PT4 in january and always used it normal, my computer got infected by some spywares and i had to do a lot of clean with antivirus, after that i tried to log in my pt4 and it says i needed to put my registration number, i went to my email and putted. And then this error came up to me and i dont know what to do: "Unable to connect to this database. Please check the configuration" I tried to put the three passwords that says here in the support, and i've found postgresql-x64-9.0 installed on my computer by founding at services.msc. Dont know what to try anymore! Need help! Thank you very much

Can you start PostgreSQL in the Services window?
If not, it may be blocked by your security software so take a look at our Firewall Guide.

Can you connect in PT4 once the service is started? Try changing the password in PT4 from dbpass to postgrespass - that's the default that HM uses and may be what's set up for you.

the postgres service is running automatically, it doesen't change anything.. still doesen't work, i already tried 3 passwords: dbpass, postgres and postgresspass

Click Start type notepad, right click on it and choose Run as Administrator. Once it opens up go to File -> Open and open C:\Program Files\PostgreSQL\9.0\data\pg_hba.conf (you may need to change the File Type box to show All Files to see it). Once open scroll to the bottom and where it says md5 change it to trust, save the file and restart the server and then you should be able to connect using any password.

butttttt.. i lost all my database? :O :O :O omg what do i do now? ill need to run all hands again?

Click Database -> Database Management -> New -> Browse and see if any other database show up you may just need to reconnect to them. This process just let you log in with any password it didn't affect any databases that you had on your computer.
