Wrong session time after import

I am living in time zone GMT+1.
If I import an old history file played at "$2/$4 Texas Hold'em - Saturday, January 13, 08:27:20 ET 2007"
it is imported with a session time 2007/01/13 14:27.
Region is set to English (USA) on my PC.

That looks correct to me. Your hand history is in ET (GMT - 5) and you are in GMT + 1. So your time should be 6 hours ahead of the hand history time.

08:27 + 6 hours = 14:27

I expected PT3 is doing this in the same way as PT2. There the time zone correction is not done during import.
In the tables the time from the history files is used in PT2.
I am importing the data I exported from PT2 into PT3 and wonder why all the session times are different.

PT3 saves all the dates in the database in GMT, then when they are retrieved, it converts them to your local time. So if you played on PokerStars at 1 pm your time, PT3 should show the session as played at 1 pm, instead of the time in the PokerStars hand history.

Derek[/quote8mj]It indeed works as intended, BUT at least on PokerHeaven (Boss media, using PT3 with Boss with the help of http://student.stunet.se/po/) the hand histories say "ET" even though their real time zone is GMT. So since my own time zone is GMT+2, PT3 displays the sessions to be 5 hours in the future. It would be good to have some sort of "override system time zone" setting to avoid this.

This looks like a problem the converter should take care of.

True, the converter seems to be assuming timezone is ET, not the actual hand histories. Thought it was the original .xlm files which said the time zone's ET. Then this won't be an issue if PT3 has support to import the original Boss hand histories.
