Watch out for "Midnight"

This is probably not a big deal but it threw me for a loop at first. I was looking at a loosing session (go figure) to see what went wrong on a specific date that started 1/26/08 23:08 and ended 1/27/08 00:14. Ok, so it wasn't a two day session but PT3 see's it as one session on the sessions tab and sessions list, but only displays the hands played prior to 1/26/08 24:00. You don't see all the hands for "that" session. To see all the hands I had to select 1/26/08 - 1/27/08 which was no biggy but like I said it threw me at first. The top session window showed a different "Amount Won" value (which was correct for the TOTAL Session) but the totals calculated for the Session Hands "Amount Won" column were only for the time before midnight.

Like I said, not sure if the Midnight rollover is a biggy to others or not but maybe we could see all the hands for the session that started on one specific day and ended the next day but put the next days' "Date" values in a different color to show it is the next day. I know when I look online to buy an airline ticket, if the landing time is on the next day from the takeoff time it displays in a different color to bring that to your attention.

Also if you look at the Sessions Results Graph it too only reflects the sessions hands played prior to midnight. Maybe the color thingy would work here also.

I'm not whining, just bring to your attention. I can work around it just fine. Was just confusing at first.

exactly that happens to me, too. It took a wile until I find it out. The session graph did not change when hands are added to the running session.
I had set a filter for "specific data" which is preset to the current date and therefore quick to set. If you play over midnight the problems descibed come up.
A selection in the time filter for "last two days" could speed up the selection.

This won't be an issue once the "My Day Starts At..." setting is added.

In the final product, are sessions that span over two days going to stay as a single session or will they be split into two? I'd much prefer they stayed as a single session, as it doesn't seem to make sense that a session now becomes two just because it crossed some arbitrary line which I defined to be the beginning of a day.

The sessions won't be changing. If you set your day to start at 6 am, then searching for hands played today will go from "2/4/2008 06:00" to "2/5/2008 05:59". So if you play a session that goes past midnight, it is still show under today.
