PT3 is not loading...

Postby haagone » Tue Feb 05, 2008 8:46 am

I have a new dualcore 2GB computer. When a launch the application i get the first splash screen but then nothing happens, i have no virus or firewall on this computer.

Sometimes it helps to boot the computer but not allways, do you have any idea whats causing this problem.

I dont now when but sometimes the program starts ok, strange :(

Next time it happens, attach the PokerTracker.log file to a support ticket.

Everything is ok in the log until:

2008/02/05 14:49:32.675: [00948900][PostgresConnection] Connecting to database: PT3 Beta DB1

and nothing more happens, so no contact with the database for some reason...

Something is preventing PT3 from connecting to the database server. Did you let PT3 install PostgreSQL for you? If so, did you change any of the default settings?

Go to Start -> Programs -> PostgreSQL 8.x -> Start service

Once that completes, try starting PT3 again.
