Unable to create new DB, etc.

My Attempt To Steal numbers have been all wrong (even on recently imported hands) so I was going to try to create a new DB and reimport my PT2 DB. When I tried to create a new DB the following error message popped up:


Unable to create PostgreSQL database: PT3_2008_02_07_084627
Reason: Unable to login to database (template1). Reason: FATAL:

database "template1" does not exist DETAIL: The database
subdirectory "C:/Program Files/PostgreSQL/8.0/data/base/1" is

missing.
Any idea of where to go from here?

Have you done anything with your PostgreSQL install?
