MZone and BB in HUD

Postby rckyu » Wed Sep 17, 2008 4:33 pm

Is it possible to add/configure tournament HUD to include M and how many BB's every player has in the HUD on the table?

You can extract the info (stacksizes+sb+bb+ante+number of players) you need for Mzone and BB calculations from the last hand history I guess? So it should be possible to make this work with the HUD?

:|

MZone formula
M = (s/(sb+bb)+(a*p))

s = stack size
sb = small blind
bb = big blind
a = ante
p = number of players at your table

This has been asked about before, but I think it's unlikely to be done because it relates to the current hand.
I know you can estimate it from the previous hand, but it's not so much a technical problem as a 'terms and conditions' one. I believe the general policy is to stay away from giving information about the current hand.

It has nothing to do with the hand that is played? :roll: Every information is available in the last HH, so why shouldnt it be allowed?

I'm not a fan of reading those terms (dont know if you mean pt3 or pokerclient)

Anyways, Tournament Indicator has Mzone calculations (and pot odds, win odds etc.) and that is allowed on both PokerStars and FTP.. :o

I'm not saying it's not allowed, I'm just saying that the general PT approach is not to show information about the current hand on the HUD. I don't know for sure, and this sort of thing may be added, but at the moment I doubt it.
