report filter

Postby Learning Curved » Wed Mar 03, 2010 7:21 pm

I want to build a custom report that contains 30 exact opponents. I want to examine this report with only these 30 players in it. Is there a way view a report in a way similar to this? Thank you.

If you know the player's screen name you can add a filter for (#Player# = 'X' OR #Player# = 'Y' OR #Player# = 'Z') and so on for the exact 30 players you're looking for. If you don't, what method are you using to select those 30 players?

hmmm. for some reason I cannot get this to work. I have all 30 names in the exact format above, but when I click run report after saving the filter, it runs the report against everyone in the database. Any idea what the problem could be?

fyi... my format looks just like this in the blue filters tab.

#Player# = 'fdasfsdafd' OR #Player# = 'fdasfsdfd' OR #Player# = 'tffffffp' OR #Player# = 'ffffsaaaa'

i have this filled up with 30 names in the ' '

That's odd - could you attach an exported copy of the report to a support ticket so that we can investigate further for you?

Have you found the solution? I have the same problem. Filter { #Player# = 'player1' } doesn't work. Other filters work. A few days before all filters worked, but from one day #Player# filter stopped working in new reports. However, it works in old reports (if added there some days ago). That's very odd.

P.S. lol; tried to do something more than an hour; found a solution just after posting:

I've added another filter to #Player# filter and it has started to work :) But the reason of strange things posted earlier remains unknown.
