Is it possible to filter out hands where following scenario took place: UTG jams 8 big blinds in a 9 handed SNG, HJ isos 15 big blinds and BTN overcalls his 10 big blinds. We're in the small blind with the effective stack of 15 big blinds.

I also wonder if it will be possible to use the effective blinds in PT4 using live_vars? I've tried it out a lot in PT3 but its very bugged :( .

Table size, do you mean full ring 9 handed?
Or do you mean how many hands I've got to filter for? I got about a million hands in the 9 handed database.

Yes, I meant full ring - I also just realized this thread is for PT3 not PT4.

In PT3 this kind of filtering is mostly not possible with the level of specificity you want.

In PT4 you can do a lot better - you can filter in the Hand Details -> Player Position section to filter for times UTG opens and there's a 3bet from the HJ. We don't have a filter for calling position, but you can filter in the Actions and Opportunities -> Preflop -> Actions Encountered With Sizes section for 3Bet Preflop of 15BB (just choose between 15 and 15 for it to be exactly 15). Then you can use the same section to specify that the 3bet you faced was 15 / 33 - or a little under 50% of the pot. This won't guarantee where the call came from but it will make it very likely that there is a call or other multiple players involved because that's the only way to get that raise to be such a small percentage of the pot.

Nice! So how do I create a stat to display the effective stack size for hero on a full ring table?

I see, but I was asking about effective stack size :). For HU we get the minimum of the two, is it possible to do something like that in a 6-9 player environment?

I don't think effective stack size is available as a live stat.
