I browsed the PT3 statistics reference guide and could not find this.

Q: In what positions does the player have to be, to count a steal attempt of an opponent? Only BB, or also SB and maybe even BU?

A player can make a steal attempt when he is in the cutoff, button or small blind.

A player can face a steal only when he is in the big blind or small blind - if he is on the button he does not have any blind money in the pot to steal.
