Are usernames/pw's for postgres stored?

Postby ddrewno » Mon Mar 30, 2009 9:53 pm

I am developing an application that interfaces with PT2/PT3/HEM, and have run into a snag. Here's what I need:
I need to figure out how to obtain the postgres username/password. In PT3 there is a .log file I can take it directly from, and in HEM there is a similar config XML file that has this information, but I am unable to find it in PT2 anywhere. So if anyone can point out where I can obtain this information I would be grateful. Even if it's some obscure registry entry, or some crazy Postgres hack -> I'll take it.

Thanks!

In the registry...

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\PTrack

They are stored in the PSQL_SETTINGS key in a tab separated string.
