2 questions re dataming ftp and party

1) When I datamine ftp, the files are .tmp. When I quit FTP, the files totally disappear. Do I have to run PTO while FTP is running in order to have PTO process the observed hands?

2) When datamining party using free phg, it creates hand histories in the specified folder. It also creates another folder called "live" and inside it are more hands, all of which are .live files. I tried changing the filetype to the usual party format but pto still didn't recognize them. Are the .live files maybe for a different specific tracking program? Can I get PTO to recognize them?

2. I don't know what the .live files are. I suggest you just import from the hand histories in the specified folder.
