PT4 Detecting a large number of hands

Postby mikemcq1 » Fri Mar 13, 2026 4:18 pm

I'm getting this message each time I "Stop Importing Hands":

"PokerTracker has detected a large number of hand history files waiting to be imported. These hands have not yet been imported.
Would you like to import them now?"

Is there a way to see where PT4 is seeing this large number of hands it wants to import? I'm pretty meticulous about importing hands DURING a session so I'm wondering what hands these would be. If these are hands that I've already imported either while playing "Get Hands While Playing", will it affect my database by duplicating those hands or something like that? I'm not sure if I'm explaining my question properly.

In 'Configure -> Sites & Import Options -> Site Configuration you can see what folders PokerTracker 4 is configured to auto-import from and you can review the folders/subfolders of those directories. PokerTracker 4 should only be pointed at poker site hand history folders and not at any other folders.

This could be caused by a configuration issue and/or a database issue.

Hands that have already been imported are skipped. If you need any further assistance then turn on 'Enable Logging' in PokerTracker 4 via 'Configure -> Options' and then restart PokerTracker 4. Next reproduce this issue with the import and then create a support bundle via the 'File -> Create Support Bundle' menu option in PokerTracker 4. When that file has been saved attach your support bundle to a Support Ticket where a technician can review your logs and follow up with you.
