Corrupt and lagging main DDBB

Hello!
i'm having some issues with my main ddbb, i've got like a 14GB main ddbb which is my main (whole life ddbb) were i've always saved my played hands. Then I have my other ddbbs with imported hands which are from <1GB to 2-3Gb DDDBBs
Lately i've been playing some apps and random sites, and observing hands to have some data from other villains , and my hud is showing up hands with big delays or not updating recent sesion.
( I explain myself)

I'm playing and maybe I want to tag the last hand played, but takes like 10-11 hands to show up, or maybe it just doesn't even show up, but when I go to view stats --> reports I can see and tag that hand.

I've done multiple times rebuild cache, and maintainance with pgadming on all ddbb but still this laggyness shows up.

I've also purged observed hands bla bla...

My question is, if I want to backup the ddbb, by manually exporting all hands played, but I do want to keep my tags and notes from the hands and villains, how can I do so?
It's very important to keep tags ( since i split tags into topics and study themes) and notes are as important, since I always keep notes on PT4 not on sites... so it's both a lot of time invested.

What would be the best solution to have a new clean main ddbb with "All Dates" hands imported including notes and tags??

If you are having an issue I'd recommend sending your logs to us. To do that turn on 'Enable Logging' in PokerTracker 4 via 'Configure -> Options' and then restart PokerTracker 4. Next reproduce this issue and then create a support bundle via the 'File -> Create Support Bundle' menu option in PokerTracker 4. When that file has been saved attach your support bundle to a Support Ticket:

With that said you can export player/hand notes via 'Database -> Notes' however there isn't an automated method to transfer hand tags other than backing up and restoring the entire database but it can be done manually:

Go to 'My Reports' and create a 'Hand Report'.

Guide: Creating My Reports

Filter for a specific tag. Select 'Max Hands'. CTRL-A to select all hands. Right-click and select 'Export Original Hand histories'. Name the export file accordingly.

Repeat for each tag.

If you have tagged hands in multiple databases you will need to export from those too.

In a new empty database select one exported file to reimport.

CTRL-A to select all hands. Right-click and tag them.

Add a built-in filter for 'Hand is Tagged As Any Tag' and then NOT that filter to clear the report:

Guide: NOT Filters

Import a new tag file. CTRL-A to select all hands. Tag them.

Repeat for all exported tag files.

When done import remaining hands and import player/hand notes.

OK! Understood, so tags have to be done manually.

And what about player notes ?? I didnt understand that part.


What i've been told from friend to do, is export hands manually through the Database->export hands --> my allias
And then import those hands manually back to a clean ddbb.
but that would make me loose all player notes right?

What my friend said, is that if I backup a ddbb via data base management -> backup -> and just tick 1st 2nd and last box. I might still have the same issue with the ddbb... So better if I import all my hands clean and start a new DDBB.

So what would be the way to export or solve the player notes ??

As per my original reply you can export player/hand notes via 'Database -> Notes'. Export the notes from your existing database. Create a new database and import your hands and when that's done import the notes file exported from the original database.

Hello! :) I have a problem with the exporting tags...

I have an allias, so when i export hands from one tag, and then import them on the new clean ddbb without all the 2M hands i've played, the allias seems to not exits, so I can't find the hands except one by one choosing my nickname on the 7 sites I play...
is there any way to work around this?

btw...
i'm importing back the hands I exported from apps, and it's taking insanly long and every bulk of 500s hands that is importing is giving this message

that is bad jaja and taking insanly long....like just 30k hands per hour and i've got 800k hands left ^^ , with a i9 with 32gb ram...

emulators hands from apps are corrupt mostly sure?

also I wonder where is located to save and export and import, the text you include on each hand on the replayer


when you open the replayer on the right upper side, you have 3 boxes, in order (tag box) ( text box) (option box)

text box allows you to write down notes etc from the hand replayed , so I kept there future things to study or search... but seems to be lost that on the import export manually.
Where is that saved??
Because I thought it was saved on the database-> notes , but I did that, and it just copied twice the notes on each player...... and now I had to redo everything....

If I dont delete the old main ddbb, but it's unselected from hud -> option -> advanced. Notes come from there right? So I need to delete that one to reset all this mess and import notes manually atleast from players.... but for specific hands text annotations??

how do you avoid the notes duplicating?
how do you move notes from my main old corrupt ddbb, to my new fresh ddbb ? bc some notes were exported even before I did import notes... but if i import notes, most of the notes duplicate....

The alias will not exist in the new database until you create it in the new database.

Manual hand and player notes are stored in the database and can be exported and imported via 'Database -> Notes' (or they will transfer if the database is backed up and restored). You can save the exported notes file where you want. Exporting and importing hands only will not transfer hand or player notes.

Could you have mistakenly imported the file twice? That will double up all the notes.

If a database is not selected for the HUD then those notes will not display in the HUD. Do not delete the original database until you are happy that you have everything you need in a new one.

If you are having a problem please report it as described above. In addition attach a small sample of hands and your notes file to the Support Ticket.

bc some notes were exported even before I did import notes...

I'm not sure what this means but if you let us know exactly what you are doing via a ticket with your files then we can take look at this for you.
