Would an Interactive Graph Be Possible?

Postby TrustySam » Tue Mar 20, 2012 11:02 pm

I don't know how hard/easy a feature like this would be to create, but I kind of thought it'd be helpful to be able to pause your cursor on a point on a PT graph, and get a summary of the hand that the graph at that point represents. Like say the graph spikes up at hand #2035 from $8 to $10 for the filter set ... would it be possible to get a summary of that hand to pop-up over the graph?

Like it's not hard to figure out what the big hands are if there's a big jump in cash, because then you can go into the stats and look for a big win. Just thought since a graph is a visual summary of a collection of hands, that it might be handy to be able to get references for individual hands, while looking at the summary?

Just an idea on my dream list of features ... thanks for listening! :)

If you click on the graph it should pop up the replayer with the hand you have highlighted. If you click and drag you can also zoom in on the replayer - and if you do this on the Overview report, the report will filter to the hands you've zoomed in to. That sounds like it might be able to take care of a lot of what you are looking for (especially since you can right click -> replay all hands on the filtered list).

Oh wow ... it sounds like you're referring to PT4. But I forgot to mention that I'm just using PT3.

I wasn't sure if this forum was just for the beta testers, or if anybody could add their wish list, so I guess I assumed it was the latter - and I guess I should have asked first.

So does that mean that the feature I was interested in seeing included in PT4, has already been included? If so, y'all are pretty responsive about anticipating our needs, wow! :) :)

And if so, are you still accepting beta testers? I'd love to be able to check out the feature you mentioned to see if it's what I was hoping for.

Oooh - very exciting!! Thanks so much for the link!!!

It's incredible ... the graph was everything I was wishing it to be! I'm kind of in awe of all the new features, so I'm sort of speechless at the moment, but there were a couple of things I might post about in the coming days.

Thanks for the help! And nice job with the new PT4!!
